THE PATENT AND TRADEMARK OFFICE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR
NOMINATIONS TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

THREE (3) Board of Directors Positions Will Need to Be Filled

The Board of Directors consists of a group of volunteers who represent the membership of the Credit
Union. Anyone agreeing to serve in this capacity will assist in setting forth and enforcing policy,
rules and regulations for the maintenance of the
Credit Union.



TO SERVE ON THE BOARD A NOMINEE MUST
1. Be a member in good standing (i.e., has not caused the Credit Union a
loss, be subject to character check).
2. Be willing to abide by the rules, bylaws and regulations set forth.
3. Be available to serve a three-year term.
4. Be available for training.
5. Be able to devote up to 8 hours per bi-week to participating in Board
business.
6. Be able to attend regularly scheduled Board meetings.


If interested, each nominee must submit a brief statement of qualifications and biographical data
in type written form, no more than one page double spaced, by close of business Thursday, January
31, 2014. Photographs will be accepted.

All nominees may make an oral statement regarding their qualifications at the Annual

Meeting which will be held on April 15, 2014. The meeting will be held from 12

Noon until 2:00 PM, at 401 Dulany Street, RANDOLPH CONFERENCE CENTER, 1ST

FLOOR (1do4/1d14), Alexandria, VA 22314. (Light refreshments will be served till
12:30 PM).
*Nominations will not be accepted from the floor at the Annual Meeting.

*Nominations will not be accepted after January 31, 2014.

NOTE: All nominations must be filed with Michele Peyton of the Nominating
Committee or with any staff member of the Credit Union.
